Lacking a single standardised tool for this collection and analysis phase means using a number of different solutions, leading to a complicated and cumbersome process, loss of information, visibility, and time.

Product Highlights:
The Observation, Collection and Analysis Tool, or “OCAT” allows Observations to be easily recorded by Staff Officers in the field or during a planned exercise within open and/or restricted networks, being deployed locally, it is designed to be used in any environment.
Currently, OCAT is a functional MVP and a scalable solution. It can be successfully used to collect observations in any network environment and supports data analysis with its features, eliminating the manual, labour-intensive work of Analysts working with Observations.
- Digital tool accessible on any network environment, that can be deployed offline and online.
- User-friendly interface, fast completion of a templated Observation form, with pre-filled data and a search function for fields.
- An overview table of all data that allows sorting, filtering and a smart search for all the Observations submitted.
- Comparative view and fast copy and paste function for creating a new Observation based on multiple ones.
- OCAT MVP fully supports the export and transfer of data, available in both .pdf and .json formats.
- OCAT also assists in the function of analysing Observations for Lessons Learned Staff Officers and serves to support the current function of the NATO Lessons Learned Portal, increasing the amount and quality of Lessons submitted.
